A wonderful local book shop, with friendly and relaxed staff who obviously enjoy their job (and seem to be genuinely warm, not just nice to you because they're trained to be!). A good selection of books and a lovely children's area with low stools where the little ones can be comfortable. And when you're done browsing the books, you can settle into one of their comfy leather sofas for a very civilised coffee or tea and a delicious brownie. Book shops don't get much better than this!
